HOW GHANAIAN PLAYERS FED OVER THE WEEKEND

The weekend was full of packed action as most Ghanaian players were in action for their respective clubs.

     In the English Championship,Albert Adomah scored twice for Middlesbrough in the 82nd and 84th min respectively,but could not help Boro avoid defeat at Barnsley as the lost 3-2.Micheal Essien watched Chelsea's 4-1 win over Cardiff from the bench.Meanwhile Emmanuel Frimpong could not make the Arsenal team that won 4-1 against Norwich City.Elsewhere in the German Bundesliga,Kelvin Prince Boateng was in Schalke's team that won 3-2 at Braunschweig as he was still nursing an injury.Ghanaian born Karim Ballerabi who ib on loan from Humburg scored for Braunschweign.In the German bundesliga 2,youngstar Abdul Baba Rahman was substituted in the 44th min as Greuther furth lost at home to St Pauli.MSV Duisburg Phil Ofuosu Ayeh as played full 90min.

       Mathew Amoah came on in the 45th min for Bast Schenkeveld as Heracles Almelo drew 1-1 at home with NEC Nijmengen.Kwame Quansah however was substited in the 80th min.Still in the Eredivision Fred Benson was in great form for PEC Zwolle as he scored two goals in their 6-1 win against ADO DEN HAAG.Ghana persuit Merphis Depay played the entire duration for PSV as they lost at Groningen.After getting a goal for Ghana Christian Atsu lasted the whole game for Vetessi. Meanwhile in the MLS Dominic Oduro scored and set another but his side Columbus Crew lost by 3goals to 2.Bernard Kumordzi scored for Genk in the Belgian top flight as Genk defeated Lierse by 4-0.Also in the Russian league,Abdul Majid Waris sat on the bench as Sparktak Moscow won 1-0 at Anzhi.In the Italian seria A Sulley Muntari was substituted in the 84th min in Milan's 1-0 win over Udinese.Agyemang Badu watched the game from the bench for Udinese.Kwadwo Asamoah also lasted 80min in Juventus 2-4 lost to Fiorntina.Meanwhile Isaac Cofie also watched from the bench as Geneo defeated Chievo by 2-1.Youngster Alfred Duncan who is on loan from Inter MIlan also played the whole game for Livorno when they lost 1-2 at home.Rahman Chibsah on the the other hand was an unused substitute when Sassoulo beat Bologna 2-1.

       Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan continued his goal galor as he scored a hatrick for Al AIN in the UAE top flight.defender Jerry Akaminko also played full 90MIN for Turkish side Eshkirspor.King Osei Gyan was one of the few Ghanaian players who scored as he score in the 53rd min for IK Viking in the Norweigian league.
