THE LOCAL BLACK STARS WILL FACE THEIR BURKINA BAY COUNTERPARTS TODAY IN THE ONGOING GOtv WAFU TOUNAMENT
Ghana will today face Burkina Faso at the Kumasi Baba Yara sports stadium in the ongoing GOtv WAFU tournament.Ghana who started their campaign on a bright note beating Sierra Leon 4-1 lost to Benin on Saturday by 1-0.This however leaves the black stars on the 3rd position in group A with 3 points.Both Burkina and Benin lie on the 1st and 2nd position with 4 points each.
Ghana will have to pray and hope Benin does not secure a win over Sierra Leon in the other group game.The chance of the stars are not slim that nothing less than a win will see them off the ultimate trophy.
Winners of both groups will eventually proceed to play in the finals while the 2nd place teams will settle for the 3rd and 4th positions.
