GHANAIAN PLAYERS ABROAD

The weekend was full of action as most Ghanaian players playing their traits abroad were in action for their respective clubs.

 In England,Micheal Essien after captaining Chelsea to win their Carling cup game against Arsenal failed to make the Chelsea bench as the blues lost at New Castle.Derrick Boateng could only watch from the bench as Fulham lost 3-1 to Manchester United at  Craven Cottage.In the Championship,inform Albert Adomah failed to find the back of the net this time around as he lasted 84 min for Middlesbroug when they lost 1-0 to Blackburn Rovers.Still in the championship,youngstar Jeffery Schullp was in great form and lasted the entire duration for Liecester City when they went away to beat Watford 3-0.

In the German Bundesliga,Kelvin Price Boateng helped Schalke to a crucial away win as they beat Hertha Berlin by 1-0..The Ghanaian midfielder was substituted in the 87th min.In the bundesliga 2.Karim Ballerabi played 90 min for Breunsweign when they had a shocking win over 3rd place Leverkusen.19 year old Abdul Baba Rahman played 90min for SpVgg Greuther Furth when they demolished Ezgebirg by 6-2.Former under 17 and 20 forward Kwame Nsor came on in the 58th min for Metz in their 2-1 win over Istres.Ghanaian young defender Phil Ofosu Ayer was on target for Duisburg.Marel Appiah palyed the whole 90 min for Almenia Blefield when they lost 3-1 to Karlsruhe.

Elsewhere in the Italian seria A,kwadwo Asamoah got full time action in Juventus narrow win over Parma,Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah only make the bench for Parma.Udinese loat 3-0 at home to International Milan.Had working midfielder Agyemang Badu enjoyed the whole game for Udinese.Sulley Munatri could not help Milan avoid defeat at home as they lost 2-0 to Fiorentina,the experienced midfielder lasted 64min.In other games,Alfred Duncan came on as a substitute for Livorno who beat Atalanta I-0 at home.Youngstar Rahman Chibsah watch from the bench as Sassolo won 4-3 away at Sampdoria

In the French Liga 1,The youngest son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele,Jordan Ayew scored in the 16th min to help Marsille grab a point at Rennes as they drew 1-1.The 22 year old however lasted the full 90 min with his senior brother Andre Ayew missing out due to suspension.Ghana recieved a great boost ahead of the 2nd league qualifer against Egypt as defender Jonathan Mensah returned from injury to feature for Evion Tonan Gillad.

In the Eredivision,Christian Astu came off for Geal Kakunta in the 82nd min as Vitessi managed a 1-0 away victory over Ajax.Shadrach Eghan was also substituted in the 66th min by Jesus Corona when Fc Twenty drew 2-2 with Nec Nijmengen.

In Russia,Mubarak Wakusu also enjoyed 46 min and was substituted by Roman Eremenko as Robin Kazan contineued their poor form when they drew0-0 with 12 placed FK Rostov.Ghana sensational striker Abdul Majeed Waris once again did not get any minuites of Sparktak Mosva 1-3 lost at home to Lokomotive Mosva.

Both Ebenezer Assifuah and Ishmeal Yartey were in action for Sion when they won 3-0.The under 20 golden boots winner scored in the 3rd min.

In South Africa,goalkeeper Fatawu Dawda did not make Orlando Pirates team that drew 1-1 at home with Al Ahly in the champions league final 1st league in Soweto.Yakubu Mohammed was booked in the 52nd min and was substituted in the 84th min when Merizburg United drew with Blomfortain Celtic.Fellow Ghanaian team mates,Awal Mohamed and Frank Sarfo Gyemfi were all in action for Meritzburg.Edwin Gyima also played 90 min for Super sports.

Elsewhere in Africa,versatile defender Harrison Afful score in Esperance 5-0 win.
