GYAN AND ASAMOAH MAKE SHORT LIST FOR AFRICAN PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Ghana duo Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah has been shortlisted in CAF 25 man list vying for this year's African footballer of the year.

Gyan who is the captain for the black stars has been in an impressive form as he has won the top scorer award on two occasions in the UAE league.He has also remained Ghana's all time top scorer for the black stars with 39 goals.Gyan however place  3rd in 2011.

Asamoah on the other hand have been in an impressive form  for Italian side Juventus helping them to win the Scudetto last season and has been one of their key members in the team.

The two will be competing with raining champion Yaya Toure as well as two time champion Didier Drobga,Mikel Obi etc.
