AYEW HAPPY WITH INJURY RETURN


Andre-Ayew-is-not-ready-to-discuss-his-Marseille-future
After his eleventh physiotherapy session on Tuesday, Andre Ayew is very positive of returning from injury in earnest for first team football.

The Ghana international has been out of action since picking up a knee injury during the Black Stars’ final 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt in November of last year.
Ayew, who is back home in Accra has been receiving treatment and has been boosted by the rate of his recovery.

On Tuesday, the Marseille winger visited the Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi to wish him a Happy New Year and he shared his injury experience too.
“I am not too far away from full recovery,” Andre Ayew told www.ghanafa.org told as he briefed Kwesi Nyantakyi about his injury situation.

“The physiotherapy sessions are going well and my condition is far better than what was anticipated, so I am delighted by that.”

But despite positive news regarding his recovery, Andre Ayew is not bringing forward his expected date of return.

“Though I am happy with the progress, I am following a strict plan aimed at getting me fully healed and ready for the game. It’s been positive so far and I pray it continues that way.
“I am very grateful to the doctors, physiotherapists, my family, colleagues and all the fans who continue to wish me well.

“I hope the New Year bring us all greater success especially at the World Cup,” the Marseille player said.
