Ghana
Football Association (GFA) technical directorate member Francis Oti Akenteng,
has said Ghana has a strong force to contend with at the CHAN which kick starts
this Saturday in South Africa.
The
former Heart s of Lions head coach told Live fm Sports that the team is going
to face stiff oppositions at the tournament looking at the pedigree of the
three sides they are drawn with.
The
Local Black Stars are drawn in Group C alongside Congo, Ethiopia and Libya, and
the former Ashanti Gold trainer believes Ghana are going to face a stiff
Challenge from the three sides considering the competitiveness of their
domestic Leagues, and with the fact that these three sides have a complement of
the Squads that participated in the 2013 AFCON nations cup and World cup qualifiers,
talking of Ethiopia and Congo.
But
Oti Akenteng said despite the stiff Challenge Ghana is going to face he still
believes the team can go all the way to emerge as Champions.
The
3rd edition of the CHAN will kick start on the 11th of this month, thus
Saturday to the 1st of February 2013.Ghana were were loosing finalist at the
maiden edition at Ivory Coast losing 2-0 to DR Congo.
