MICHEAL AKUFFU CONFIDENT OF CHAN SUCCESS

Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Local Black Stars midfielder Michael Akuffu has expressed confidents that he and his colleagues are eager and very prepared to win this year’s CHAN Competition in South Africa.

Speaking with an Accra based radio station, Peace FM, the 28 year old who played a vital role in Ghana’s qualification to this year’s competition said he and his colleagues are aware of the task ahead of them and are really working very hard to bring success to the nation when the tournament kick starts on the 11th of this month. He continued to say the technical team are also working very hard to put things in order before the tournament start and that moral in camp is very high.

The former Fayenoord Acadamy, ASEC Mimosa and Popa Fc player scored a splendid goal against Sierra Leon in the WAFU tournament played some few months ago in Ghana which Ghana were eventual winners.

The CHAN which kick starts this Saturday will see Ghana having high hopes of making amends after their abysmal performance two years ago in Sudan.

Ghana were losing finalist at the maiden edition in Ivory Coast when they were beaten 2-0 by the DR Congo.
