English Premier league side West Ham United has confirmed their
intentions to sign Ghana international
Asamoah Gyan during the winter transfare.
Asamoah,28, who was earlier on linked with a move to Turkish
outfit Trabsonspor is now said to make a
move to the relegation threatening side in the EPL
.
The Ghanaian skipper is now the top scorer in the UAE Pro
League with 14 goals and has set a record as the only player to have scored a
total of 70 goals within a period of two and half years in the League.
‘We’ll be linked with anybody that’s a centre forward that
might be coming back into this country,’ said Allardyce.
This wouldn’t be the first time the former Udinese and
Rennes forward will be playing in the EPL as he has had a spell with Sunderland
during the 2010/2011 season before moving to the Dubai based club.
