QUEENS COACH BASIGI TO INVITE ITALIAN BASED GOALEE ALIMA MORO

Black Queens Coach, Yusif Basigi has expressed his readiness to hand Italy based goalkeeper Alima Moro a call up into his team for the 2014 African Women’s Championship qualifier against Burkina Faso, once the Ghana FA confirms its satisfaction with her performance for her club Laghi Calcio in the Italian Female Football League
.
“Though she is a Ghanaian, before we invite a foreign based player, we need to more about her profile, see her training, her matches and all that. The FA will be paying for all her air fare and everything so in order not to waste the FA’s money, we need to do all these background checks before we can invite a foreign based player,” Coach Basigi told CampioneSports.net
.
The 30-year-old Alima, who recently joined Laghi Calcio from CF Trevignano, has not been invited the Black Queens since 2011, when she accused the former Queens Coach Anthony Edusei of allegedly requesting her to pay a bribe before she is fielded.
