GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE WEEK 13 MATCHES

RECAP OF WEEK 13 GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS

The Ghana Premier League bounced back after a 2 week break with exciting results.It seem week 13 of the Ghana Premier League did not produce many goals.

In Kpando,Kpando Hearts of Lions who have been in fine form defeated Brekum Chelsea who have been disappointing so far this season by 2-0.Midfielder Idan Conney and Sherrif Mohammed got the 2 goals for Lions.

In Accra,Dansoman based Liberty Proffessionals managed 1-0 victory over Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium.A 23rd min Tamimu Muntari's goal saw Liberty pick up maximum points.

Elsewhere at the Obuasi Lan Clay Sports Studium,a Benard Morrison 32rd min penalty gave home side Ashanti Gold the 3 maximum points.The Obuasi lads are lying 3rd and  still keeping  the chase on Kotoko and Hearts who lie on 1st and 2nd positions respectively.

Kumasi based King Faisal were able to beat bottom placed Inter Allies by 1-0 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.Thanks to a Prince Boateng 5th min goal.The win however push King Faisal out of the relegation zone as they now lie at the 13th position with 16 points.

In other games,2 goals from Yahaya Mohammed ensured Kotoko still stay on top of the League as they beat 11th placed Amidaus Proffessionals by 2-0 at the Tema sports stadium.

At the Takwa T&A park,4th placed Medeama could not take advantage of their home support as they shared spoils with 8th place Edubiase when the game ended 1-1.Midfielder Victor Ayire and tall lanky striker Stephen Manu scored the goals for either sides.Despite the draw at home,Medeam still lie 4th on the log with 22 points.

In Cape Coast,Dwarfs continued their poor performance at home as 2nd place Hearts of Oak under the supervision of new coach Mohammed Polo managed to beat them by 1-0.Goal from midfielder Thomas Abbey in the 21st min.Hearts still keep the chase on rivals Kotoko.

The last game saw Aduana Stars beating Wa All Stars 1-0 at the Agyemang Badu park.Former Liberty midfielder Emmanuel Allan Skido got the only goal of the game.The win however pushes the Dormaa lads from 10th to 8th position on the table.
