GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE GROWING IN STYLE


The Ghana premier league entered it's 14th week which produced the most goals scored so far in the League.

In Kumasi,League leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko stretched their lead on the log to 6 points as they humiliated Medeama SC by 4-1 at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.2goals from striker Seidu Bancey and a goal each from Jordan Opoku and Prince Baffoe saw the Porcupine worriers to yet another win.Kennedy Boateng however got the consolation for Medeama.Kotoko now have managed 33points out of a possible 42 points.

Bitter rivals,Accra Hearts of Oak under new Coach Mohammed Polo also managed to run away with a point at the Agyemang Badu park when they held Aduana stars to a 2-2 draw.Kofi Abanga opened the scoring for Hearts in the 19th min before Alex Asamoah and Emmanuel Allan shot Aduana into the lead in the 2nd half,with midfieder Winful Cobbinah drawing Hearts level half way in the game as both side shared spoils.

Elsewhere in Bechem,Bechem united were unable to take all three points as they drew 2-2 with 3rd place Ashanti goals.Captain Francis Dadzie and an Augustine Okrah's goal was concelled by a Patrick Opoku's own goal and a Lawrence Lartey header.

In other games,Kumasi based King Faisal could not stand the pressure at the Secondi Sports stadium as they lost 2-0 to Secondi Hasaacas.Richard Yamoah and Samuel Afful got the two goals for Hasacaas.Both goals first half.

Kpando Hearts of Lions continued their fine form as the managed to beat Wa All stars at the Wa park by 3-2.Two goals from Kojo Poku and a goal from Samuel Yeboah for Lions.Whiles Paul Asare and Samuel Gyasi got the consolations for All stars.

A late  goal from Bennet Ofori saw Brekum Chelsea managed only their 4th win of the season as they beat Liberty by 1-0 at the Brekum Golden City park.The win however sees Chelsea pull out from the relegation Zone.

Stephen Manu's 30th min strike was concelled out by Faisal Gambo's goal as Edubiase drew 1-1 at home with Dwarfs.

The last game saw all Tema affair as Amidaus beat bottom placed Inter Allias by 2-0.Isaac Owusu and Isaac Amoah got the goals for Amidaus.
